The picture above of Mary Hopkin with Zaine Griff was taken at the Ebury Gallery in 1982 where Zaine had an exhibition. Mary was there with then husband Tony Visconti. Tony was producer of Zaine's first LP "Ashes & Diamonds".

"Very Annie Mary" (two pictures above) was filmed in the Garw Valley, and was directed by Sara Sugarman. Mary Hopkin played a small role in this movie.

Plot Outline: After her father suffers a stroke a woman is forced to take care of him but uses the circumstances to emancipate herself and find the courage to sing once again.

Comments: A touching and heart-warming take on life in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales.
